I would like to thank the talented and generous Zx_ta for creating the lobster signs featured in this lot! Don’t forget to check below for the link to her signs as well as a few other required items. Look for the pencil cup next to the mermaid for this recommended spot. There’s also a great spot for a World Adventures food register if you want to place one of those (although when I tried it, Lobster Thermidor didn’t show up on the menu). Unfortunately menus cannot be placed on the picnic tables, but Sims may still use those for bar food or eating sno-cones. Make sure you place menus on the tables around the lot (I like using Sigmundsim’s Casual Dining menu which works with Ani’s modded oven). I’ve left a space in the kitchen area which is just the right size for the oven. You will have to make sure you set the chef to the highest quality to enable Lobster Thermidor to appear in the menu. However, for a more authentic New England seafood experience, I recommend using the Store Bistro Oven (or better yet, Ani’s version of it) so that you can set the menu to include Lobster Thermidor. The lot contains a Late Night bar, so Sims can order seafood items like fish and chips or shrimp cocktail. However, with a bit of tinkering, you should be able to place it just about anywhere along a gently sloping coastline. It was built in the world Cape Garner Islands by Johnnywr, and since the lot slopes slightly towards the back, it will work best at 10 Gristle Road in that world. The Lobster Dock is a casual seafood restaurant and bar, inspired by a real place in Boothbay Harbor, Maine.
